Music shaped Ledo’s life from the very start, when at the age of 4 he began his training as a violinist under Milan’s Conservatory’s First Violin Daniele Gay.

At the age of 15, he started training as a guitar player. At 18, he started taking voice lessons with vocal coach Francesca Toure’ (lead singer for Delta V). Under renowned and award-winning composer and record producer Ferdinando Arno’s wing, he learned the art of record-making and the rudiments of music production and engineering.

In 2016, Ledo was accepted as a vocalist at the prestigious Berklee College of Music, Boston, and was awarded a Vocal and Songwriting Scholarship.

During his time at Berklee, Ledo not only perfected his skills as a singer-songwriter throughout dozens of gigs around the Boston City Area, but also acquired many new fundamental skills as a musician. He took piano classes and taught himself electric bass, developed his newfound passion for music production, orchestral composition, and arranging, and acquired music business notions studying under illustrious professors such as Shawn Slade (record producer for Radiohead), Chrissy Tignor (Mixing engineer for Bastille), Bill Elliott (Broadway Grammy-nominated composer and orchestrator), George Howard (co-founder of TuneCore). During his senior year, he was appointed stage manager and concert producer for multiple official Berklee live productions, working for renowned music director Rob Lewis (Anderson Paak, Christina Aguilera, Fifth Harmony). Ledo graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2020 with a BA in Contemporary Writing & Production. But this decades-long journey was only the beginning. He was now ready to take on the music industry with his thirst for knowledge and his endless creative drive.

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit in 2020, the whole music world came to a standstill. Ledo, however, was not caught unprepared.  He began his solo artist career as a singer-songwriter by writing, recording, and producing his first solo record, the “First Blood” EP, in his bedroom studio. “First Blood” dropped throughout 2021, and all of its tracks debuted on more than 90 Spotify playlists from all over the world. In 2023 Ledo was invited by Mauro Pagani (legendary Italian composer and record producer) to perform an hour-long live set at the renowned “Officine Meccaniche” Recording Studio, where he performed alongside the famous musician in front of a live audience.

While exploring new sounds with his personal artist project, Ledo has been tirelessly working as a songwriter, top-liner, and music producer on other artists’ projects. Some of them include names such as Jules Walcott, Lina Cooper, Albert Marzinotto, Kleak&Veebu, Elisheva, Nikitaa. He also collaborates with record labels and publishers such as ADA Music, Warner Music, The Orchard, Frequency Music, Strange Fruits, and more…

In 2023, Ledo produced the “Sola a Casa e Altri Sbatti EP” for Italian indie/pop artist Jess. This was his first record for a major distributor (ADA/Warner) and it was featured by Rolling Stone Italy, Sky TG and Billboard Magazine Italy. As her sole producer, Ledo also was invited by Jess to perform as keyboardist at the finals of “Back To Talent 2023”, Milan’s musical talent show, where they won first prize.

In 2024 Ledo began his collaboration as writer and producer with renowned American Tik-Toker Jules Walcott. The first product of this collaboration was the single “OVER YOU’, released by Ethika Music in the summer of 2024.
Ledo currently travels between his hometown of Milan (Italy) and Los Angeles, working with incredibly talented artists on both sides of the ocean whilst gearing up for his sophomore record…

As a composer, Ledo was recruited in 2023 by Screenplay SRL and imnotarobot (Milan-based communication agency) to write and arrange commercials and jingles for COOP, one of Italy’s most important supermarket chains. His compositions went on to be aired on national TV and movie theatres nationwide.

Ledo’s artistic journey and thirst for creative challenges have always gone well beyond music. While in college, Ledo started a student-run musical organization for climate justice called The Mama Initiative, collaborating with both Harvard and MIT on student-run climate-related projects around the city of Boston.

Ledo’s involvement with climate activism attracted the attention of the World Bank Group (UN) climate program, Connect4Climate.

In 2021, Connect4Climate hired Ledo as a Creative Consultant to manage Music4Climate, their music-related programs involving climate justice. We worked together on many projects and initiatives, social media and ad campaigns, and live events worldwide.

With the support of the Connect4Climate team, the Italian Ministry for the Environment (MITE) and other private entities, Ledo conceived the Music4Climate Concert during the prestigious PRE-COP-26 (Conference of Parties), a convention held in Milan where the leaders of 190 of the world nations would meet with youth climate delegates such as Greta Thunberg and Vanessa Nakate to discuss the imminent climate danger and to craft a Climate Manifesto to implement eco-friendly practices worldwide through the UN 2030 Goals.

Music4Climate was the crown jewel of the All4Climate event program that ran through Milan’s Youth4Climate: Driving Ambition event and set the stage for the subsequent Pre-COP26 climate summit. In a moving Music4Climate concert held at the Ippodromo de San Siro and live-streamed on Sky TV, over 100 musicians representing the Rockin’1000 collective played together to celebrate the conclusion of the Youth4Climate summit and set a tone of empowering optimism heading into Pre-COP and COP26 beyond. Playing alongside professional musicians through a setlist of anthemic rallying songs were several special guests (Italian popstars such as Michele Bravi, Nina Zilli, Daniele Silvestri), including European Space Agency astronaut Luca Parmitano. Ledo was also chosen to record a video streamed on the concert screens inviting musicians from all over the world to join into the Music4Climate initiative.

In the aftermath of the Music4Climate concert, Ledo took part in more climate-related projects and campaigns, such as Planet Be, Youth4Climate, Little Amal. As a sponsor, Connect4Climate supported and curated Italian popstar Elisa’s “Back To The Future Live Tour” 2022 to raise awareness on climate-related issues within the music industry.
